Account and Data Deletion

This page explains how OneMotivation users can delete their account and app data.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open OneMotivation.
  2. Go to Profile.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm the deletion dialog.

What is deleted

Account deletion removes your Firebase Authentication account, private user profile, notification settings, FCM token, username reservation, and favorites. Unused community submissions are deleted. Community submissions that were already used as a daily motivation may be kept without your user ID or username so the published daily record remains consistent.

Request deletion without the app

If you cannot access the app, email one@onemotivation.de from the address associated with your OneMotivation account and ask for account deletion. We may need to verify account ownership before deleting data.

Retention

Deleted account data is removed from active app databases when the deletion request is processed. Backup, log, and abuse-prevention data may remain for a limited period where required for security, fraud prevention, debugging, or legal compliance.
